Journey management
Go to the Journeys screen.
A journey is the link between the courses you have completed and the groups of learners to whom you wish to broadcast this content. They allow you to organize the courses into categories or journeys and activate features related to these contents, such as duels or discussion threads for example.
Create a Journey
Mandatory settings
When you click on the Create Journey button, you must define a number of mandatory settings.
In the window that appears, enter the title of your course (it will be visible to learners) and then indicate in a few words a description to inform your learners of the content and pedagogical objectives of this course.
Choose the main language and then import a cover image to illustrate this series of courses in the application.
Then select the type of journey you want to configure. There are 3 types of journeys:
- A library mode that will allow learners to freely access all content at any time.
- Follow journey: at the beginning, only the first capsule of the first course is available. The others appear but are disabled. You must consult the first capsule to unlock the next one. And so on for all the capsules and courses.
- Programmed journey: which, as its name suggests, allows you to schedule the release of your courses and capsules by date. The scheduling of broadcast dates and times will then take place at the time you add a group and will be specific to each group.
Optional settings
- Duel and ranking. This mode adds a tab to the app displaying the list of all group members, classified by points obtained in the category or course. It also gives the possibility to challenge other users in the group to a duel.
- Discussion thread. This option adds a tab to the app to access a group and content-specific thread.
- Separation of groups. This option allows you to mix or not the users of the different groups in the ranking.
- Quick actions. Displays or not the “quick actions” bar which groups together a set of shortcuts allowing learners to directly access the ranking, provoke random duels and return to the last capsule consulted.
Broadcast its content
Once you have created your route, you can access it by clicking on it. On the screen of a route, you can modify the parameters described above and associate contents and users.
Add courses (content)
Once you have created your journeys (follow or library) you can add your courses. To do this, check that these courses have been published or you will not be able to find them in the search bar.
To add a course, enter its title in the Search bar and add a course. It will appear in a list, click on it to add it. Once your courses have been added, you can reorder them by dragging and dropping them or remove them by clicking on the trash.
Associating groups (users)
You can then associate your route or category with one or more groups. In the same way as for a course, search for a group by its name in the Search bar and add a group.
At the time of adding, a window allows you to choose a start and end date for content distribution for this group. If you leave the fields blank, the contents will be available all the time. You can also define a start date or an end date only.
In the case of a Programmed Journey, you can specify the release dates of each course and capsule (click on the course to see its capsules appear).
Please note that these dates are specific to a group. This allows you to reuse the same route for several groups that need to access it on different dates.
When you add to the group, a popup asks you if you want to send a notification. This automatically sends all group members a push notification that new content is available.
Once the group has been added, you can remove the access by clicking on the trash and change the access dates by clicking on the pencil.
Modify a course in a course to which a group of learners has access: When a course is integrated into a course, the possibilities of modifying it are reduced. Indeed, if you can modify or create additional maps, you will not be able to create additional evaluations or capsules. To do this, you will need to desynchronize the groups that have access to the content.
